The Day That Changed My Life Forever
I’m sharing this today because, I was able to change my life, and I now know anyone can.
Since January 28, 2025, life has never been the same.
So, what happened? Let’s dive in.
A Routine Morning—Until It Wasn’t
My day started like any other—until 7:08 AM:
5:00 AM – Wake up, shower, get ready.
5:45 AM – Leave the house.
5:50 AM – Pick up my daughter.
6:00 AM – Arrive at church.
6:55 AM – Leave church and drop off my daughter.
7:03 AM - Drive into Work
7:08 AM – I was hit by a truck. Driver says he was doing 40 on a 45 mph, and he was trying to beat the light, with all the weight.
And in that moment, everything changed.
JANUARY 28th 2025
I remember stopping at the intersection just as the light turned green. A few cars turned before me, but I waited.
The light turned yellow, then red. As cars on the opposite side slowed, I finally made my turn.
Suddenly—it felt like a roller coaster.
Smoke poured from the dash.
The windows turned white.
I had no idea where I was. Then it hit me—I’d just been in an accident.
I reached for my phone, but my arm wouldn’t move. It was the strangest feeling. (I have never dislocated or broken a bone before)
Using my left hand, I struggled to grab it from the floor. The only thing I could think of was my 2 Daughters…….
I needed to call them — But my arm wouldnt move.
Grateful for Another Day
Right after the accident, I called my daughters. Then reality set in.
I couldn’t remove my seatbelt—my arm wouldn’t move.
Smoke filled the cabin.
My phone was in my hand, but I couldn’t get out.
The door wouldn’t open, and the pain was setting in.
I’ll stop there. (If you want the full story, let me know!)
Finding the Positive in the Pain
Since the crash, I have seen God’s hands in my life. I’ve learned so many lessons, and I appreciate every single one.
But above all, I am grateful for one thing:
The ability to see something negative as a positive.
The bottom line?
I walked out of that car with just a dislocated shoulder.
I see that as a miracle.
The Transformation Begins
The crash was traumatizing enough that God finally gave me the will to drastically cut out junk food and sugar.
Doctors had been telling me for years, but until I got the nudge, I never changed.
So what did I do? A few things, but the most important part was simply getting started.
At first, it wasn’t easy. But with time, I built momentum. And today, here’s where I stand:
My Life 4 Months Later
55 pounds lost
Blood pressue back to normal
No more after-lunch blues
Soda-to-water intake went from 75/25 to 10/90
I wake up before 4AM every day—without an alarm!
No more slouching around; my body literally makes me walk, lol.
The Power of Positivity
I heard this in a podcast the other day:
"Negative thoughts in the brain are like an intruder wandering into your home. You would never leave the front door slightly open, so why let negative thoughts into your mind?"
Positivity is the key.
That’s what keeps us moving forward. That’s what changed my life.

Start with one extra fruit—make sure it's organic. Then, the next day, drink more water and keep going…
I’ve been thinking of building a health app to help people like me take small steps toward a healthier life—without sacrificing taste or happiness. Not sure there if there would be any intrest if so follow my recently created Tik-ToK for healthy tips and tricks.
Remember, if I can do this, so can you.
